Butterball Christmas Ornaments

Coffman developed this funny little Christmas ornament design a few years ago. People had commented on how they liked the feel of the carvings, and she wanted to have a Christmas ornament that fit nicely into a person's hand. She designed the ornament to be strong so it would not be too delicate for even an adult to hold. Experience taught her that children handled her wood carvings much more carefully than grown ups. The different angles of the feet and the curve of the body allow the markings of the grain to show off nicely.
